Open engine hood

Remove left and right suction air ducts

Slacken poly-V-belt (1)

Rotate multitooth (2) at tensioning pulley (3) counter clockwise (arrow), lock tensioning pulley (3) with drift (4) (diameter 5mm).

Remove poly-V-belt (1)

Check

Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device for damage and dirt

Inspect poly-V-belt

Inspect poly-V-belt for wear and damage

Install

Fit on poly-V-belt (1)

Fit on poly-V-belt according to digital sequence starting at crankshaft:

Do not use belt wax or similar products.

Clamp poly-V-belt (1)

Rotate multitooth (2) at tensioning pulley (3) counter clockwise (arrow), remove drift (4) and slowly decelerate tensioning pulley (3).

Install left and right suction air ducts

Close engine hood
