Remove air intake hose.

For air intake from the front.

Installation: Check clamps for damage; replace if necessary.

Clamp, air intake hose to turbocharger

Remove charge air hose (red) (3).

For side air intake.

Installation: Check clamps for damage; replace if necessary.

Remove single tensioning device (front belt drive poly-V-belt) (13).

Only for engines with a 3-belt drive.

Remove fan (1) from fan clutch (1.1).

Pull fan (1) to rear in direction of engine.

Slacken poly-V-belts (4, 5) and remove poly-V-belt (4).
