| Installing | ||
5 | Place V-belt (4) in place | Check V-belt (4) for cracks, oil fouling, overheating and wear; replace if necessary. Check for correct seating of V-belt (4). | |
6 | Tension V-belt (4) and tighten up bolt (1) | Place torque wrench on bracket (5) at the width across flats (arrow), tighten bracket (5) anticlockwise. Counterhold bracket (5) while tightening the bolt (1) otherwise the V-belt tension will change. | |
