1 | Turn off the main switch or disconnect the negative battery cable. | ||
2 | Open the engine compartment cover. | Refer to body maker instructions. | |
3 | Remove the fan drive belts (2/3). | Loosen the counternut (10) and the nut (12). Through the adjustment nut (11), loosen the belts (2/3) and remove them. | |
4 | Remove the drive belts (1) from the water pump/alternator. | Loosen the screw (13). Through the adjustment nut (14), loosen the belts (1) and remove them. | |

5 | Check the condition of belts (1/2/3). | Replace them in case of damage, wear, dryness, cracking, oil contamination or traces of overheating. The pair of belts (1) must always be replaced as an assembly (both pieces). | |
6 | Check the condition of pulleys (4/5/6/7/8/9). | Clean pulleys eliminating any signs of corrosion. Replace them in the event of wear/damage. | |

7 | Install the drive belts (1) from the water pump/alternator. | Mount the belts (1) on the pulleys (4, 6 and 7) and tense them using the adjustment nut (14) until the recommended value. | |
Tighten the screw (13). | |||

8 | Install the fan drive belts (2/3). | Mount the belt (2) on the pulleys (5 and 8), the belt (3) on the pulleys (8 and 9) and tense them using the adjustment nut (11) until the recommended value. Tighten the counternut (10) and the nut (12). | |
