1 | Remove engine cover | Installation: Ensure correct seating. | |
2 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter | ||
3 | Slacken poly-V belt and remove | Routing diagram for poly-V belt | |
When laying on poly-V belt, the routing diagram must be observed. | |||
Swivel clamping device (1) at hexagon (2) counterclockwise. Lock clamping device (1) with a pin (Ø 5 mm) and remove poly-V belt. | |||
4 | Remove screw/bolt (3) | Bolt, poly-V belt tensioning device to major assembly carrier | |
5 | Remove pin (Ø 5 mm) and slacken clamping device (1) | ||
6 | Remove screw/bolt (4) | Bolt, poly-V belt tensioning device to major assembly carrier | |
7 | Remove tensioning device (1) from major assembly carrier | ||
| Check | ||
8 | Check belt pulley profiles and tensioning device (1) for damage, wear and soiling | ||
9 | Check poly-V belt | ||
| |||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
