1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position		AR88.40-W-1000R
2	Detach charge air hose (3) on charge air pipe (1)
3	Install test flange (2) between charge air pipe (1) and charge air hose (3)	 Inspect clamp for damage, replace if necessary.

4	Attach tester (6) with test line (5) to test flange (2)		*442589012100
5	Detach charge air hose (9) on charge air pipe (7)
6	Install test flange (8) between charge air hose (9) and charge air pipe (7)	 Inspect clamp for damage, replace if necessary.	*BA09.41-N-1010-01B

7	Apply compressed air to charge air cooler (4) and charge air hoses (3, 9) at test flange (8)	 The test pressure on testing unit () must not be exceeded otherwise damage can occur to the charge air cooler (4) or charge air hoses (3, 9).	*BE09.41-N-1001-01A
8	Observe display on tester (6) to determine if test pressure decreases	 Pay attention to test period. If pressure drops, inspect charge air cooler (4) and charge air hoses (3, 9) for damage; replace if necessary.	*BE09.41-N-1001-01A
9	Relieve test pressure at test flange (8)
10	Remove test flange (8)
11	Attach charge air hose (9) to charge air pipe (7)		*BA09.41-N-1010-01B
12	Remove tester (6) with test line (5) and test flange (2) from charge air hose (3)
13	Attach charge air hose (3) to charge air pipe (1)		*BA09.41-N-1010-01B
