1 | Open lower maintenance flap at the right rear on the vehicle | ||
2 | Remove foam material (32) on radiator (35) | ||
3 | Remove screws (36) | ||
4 | Take off clamp (31) | ||
5 | Raise vehicle. | ||
6 | Remove engine compartment paneling below the radiator unit | ||
7 | Detach bottom charge air pipe (10) from bracket (29) | ||
8 | Detach charge air hose (30) from lower charge air pipe (10) | | |

9 | Remove lower charge air pipe (10) from connecting pipe on charge air cooler (34) | Installation: Check for correct seating of the flange on the lower charge air pipe (10) to the charge air cooler (34) otherwise damage can occur. | |
Installation: Replace O-ring in flange for lower charge air pipe (10). | |||
10 | Install in reverse order | ||
| Checking | ||
11 | Check that the charge air hose (30) and lower charge air pipe (10) are not damaged and also check for leaks |
