Use tight fitting and closed work clothes. Do not touch heated or running parts. | |
1 | Detach the battery negative lead or switch-off the master switch | Loosen the bolts on the side rail avoiding detaching the terminals on the battery posts. | |
2 | Remove the clamp with internal channel (7) of the outlet opening (10) junction with the metal pipe (6) | Installing: Check the clamp with internal channel for condition and if necessary replace it. | |
3 | Loosen the clamps (4) and remove the red color flexible hose (5) | Installing: Check the clamps and the red color flexible hose for condition and, should it be necessary, replace them. | |

4 | Remove the inlet metal pipe (6) | ||
5 | Remove the clamp with internal channel (2) at the turbocharger the outlet opening (1) and remove the metal pipe at the engine (3) | Installing: Install a new sealing ring (12) in the fitting opening (11) lubricated with neutral petroleum jelly. If necessary, replace the clamp with internal channel (2). | |
6 | Install in reverse order | Installing: All pipes and hoses must be thoroughly clean. | |
All charge-air cooler circulation system must be in perfect conditions. | |||
7 | Run the engine and check for eventual leaks |
