| Remove/install | ||
1 | Clean working area on intake manifold (1) and cylinder head thoroughly | ||
2 | Remove ventilation pipe (3) | ||
3 | Remove electrical connectors (6) to charge air pressure (8) sensor and charge air temperature (7) sensor | Mark electrical connector (6) if necessary to avoid mixing up when installing. | |
4 | Remove bracket bolts (4) to intake manifold (1) | ||
5 | Remove bracket bolts (5) to intake manifold (1) | ||
6 | Remove bolts (2) from intake manifold (1) to cylinder head | Installation: Fully and evenly tighten bolts (2) beginning from the middle. | |

7 | Remove intake manifold (1) | After removing intake manifold (1) cover intake ports on cylinder heads using a suitable material otherwise engine damage can occur through foreign matter getting in without one knowing. | |
Installation: Clean sealing surfaces before installing intake manifold (1). Replace all gaskets. | |||
8 | Install in the reverse order |
