Remove/install

Remove engine cover

 Ensure correct seating.

Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter

Detach vent hose for crankcase ventilation system (2) at cylinder head cover

Disconnect electrical connection (3) at hot film MAF sensor

Disconnect electrical connection (4) at pressure sensor downstream of air filter

Disconnect electrical connection (5) at vent line heater element.

Disconnect electrical connection (6) at low-pressure turbocharger boost pressure sensor

Detach vacuum line (7) at aneroid capsule (9) and unhook on engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (8)

Release clamps (10, 11) and detach engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (8)

 Installation:
First mount sealing ring (1) on turbocharger.
Parts of the crushed sealing ring (1) may damage the turbocharger otherwise.

 Installation: Check clamps (10, 11) for damage.

Install in the reverse order
