Danger! | Risk of accident by involuntary moving when engine is working. Risk of injure by crushing and burning during engine start procedure or while engine is working | Secure vehicle against involuntary movement. Wear fit working clothes. Do not touch hot or moving parts. | |
1 | Disconnect battery negative cable or turn off master key. | Unscrew stringer negative cable, avoid detachment of battery posts. | |
2 | Tilt the cab. | ||
3 | Release the clamps and remove flexible hose (1.2) from the air filter outlet (1.1). | Install: Verify hose and clamps condition, replace if necessary. | |
4 | Release the flexible hose clamp (3) and remove metal pipe (2) from the air filter outlet (1.1). | ||
5 | Release the clamp at the end of the flexible hose (3) and remove it. | Install: Verify hose and clamps condition, replace if necessary. | |
6 | Release the clamp that holds the supercharger inlet hose (4) and apart it. | ||
7 | Remove holder (6) and screws (7). | ||
8 | Release the clamp that holds turbocharger connection (10) flexible hose (8) and remove intermediary metal pipe (5). | ||
9 | Remove clamp (9) at turbocharger outlet (10) and remove the flexible pipe (8) connected to the turbocharger (10). | Install: Verify hose and clamps condition, replace if necessary. | |
10 | Close turbocharger inlet opening. | Use an appropriate plastic cover. | |
11 | Install in the reverse order. | When installing be sure the pipings and hoses are perfectly clean. | |
12 | Verify air filter conditions. | Replace filtering element. | |
13 | Start the engine and verify tightness. |
