Risk of frostbite to parts of the body caused by escaping natural gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying compressed-gas tanks. Risk of poisoning or risk of suffocation caused by inhaling natural gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.

Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.

Wear heat protective gloves.

Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed as cab is tilted

Ensure that no one is within the tilting range of the cab as it is being tilted. Always tilt the cab all the way to the end position and secure with the safety strut.

Disconnect electrical connector (1) on electropneumatic converter (gas regulation valve) (Y89)

Remove compressed air line (3) and compressed air control line to gas pressure regulator (2) from electropneumatic pressure converter (gas control valve) (Y89)

Do not kink compressed air line (3) and compressed air control line (2).

Installation: Replace sealing rings.

Remove electropneumatic pressure converter (gas control valve) (Y89) from the frame

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory, and clear any stored faults

Only if replacing electropneumatic pressure converter (gas control valve) (Y89).
