1 | Read out variant coding of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) with the diagnostic system | ||

Connect up diagnostic system and read data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) in diagnostic system. | |||
Installation: Transfer stored data to new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1). | |||
2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
3 | Open engine hood | ||
4 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (2) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) bracket | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connections (3) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | ||
6 | Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) upwards and take it off | ||
7 | Detach bracket from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (1) | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
