Press hand pump lever  downwards on nozzle test equipment with a switched pressure gage slowly (one stroke per second) and read off opening pressure when opening (beginning of nozzle ejection).

 For an adjusted pressure gage only raise the pressure slowly and, above all, only drain slowly.
The manometer may be damaged otherwise.

 If the ejection pressure is too high or too low, the injection nozzle must be disassembled, cleaned and set correctly. The shims must be replaced by weaker (thinner) ones if the pressure is too high, or by thicker ones if the pressure is too low.
