Removal
1 Mount cylinder head onto the base of the cylinder head holding fixture and attach with the clamping device.
2 Screw stud bolt (arrow) at valve lifter into a vacant threaded hole (e.g. for rocker arm bracket) in the cylinder head and remove valve springs.
Installing
3 Insert shims (1, 2) for the inner and outer valve spring.
4 Insert valve springs (3, 4) and spring plate (5).
Install the more tightly coiled sides of the valve springs facing the cylinder head. Ensure that the shims (1, 2) for the valve springs are correctly seated.
5 Use valve lifter to press down spring plate (5) and insert collets (6) into the slot of the valve stem.
6 Relieve pressure on push rod of valve lifter .
Ensure all parts are correctly seated.
7 Detach valve lifter .
