Valve seat turning kit

Inspect concentricity of valve seat relative to valve guide

1 Slip clamping ring (1) over installed valve turning device pilot and tighten.

2 Fit testing unit (2) onto clamp ring (1).

3 Set feeler gauge on testing unit (2) preloaded onto the center of the valve seat.

Slowly turn testing unit (2) around pilot and inspect variation of radial runout of the valve seat to valve guide. Refer to check values.

4 Remove testing unit (2), clamp ring (1) and pilot.
