Remove
1 | Lay and fasten the cylinder head on a flat surface. |
The combined injector holder should have been removed. |
2 | Place and screw the adapter (2) on the mounting cartridge guide (1). |
The adapter (2) secures the mounting cartridge guide (1) to the hole of the combined injector holder. |
W05.30-1062-01
3 | Seat the mounting cartridge guide (1) on the cylinder head. |
4 | Insert the sleeve (3) in the mounting cartridge guide (1) and align mounting cartridge guide (1). |
5 | Screw the mounting cartridge guide (1) using a screw (4). |
W05.30-1063-11
6 | Using the mandrel (5), loosen the taper pins from the spring valve plate, with a light tap. |
W05.30-1064-03
7 | Screw the notch piece (6) to the mounting cartridge guide (1). |
8 | Insert the mounting cartridge (7) in the sleeve (3). |
W05.30-1065-11
9 | Fit the pusher (8) with built-in extender to the notch piece (6) and apply to the mounting cartridge (7) |
10 | Slightly press the presser (8) down (arrow B). At the same time, turn the knurled head screw (7.1) clockwise (arrow A) until the internal split ends of the mounting cartridge (7) significantly snap between the tapered pins. |
11 | Press the pusher (8) down until it reaches the stop. |
During this operation, the tapered pins will be tightened and removed from the mounting cartridge (7). |
W05.30-1066-11
12 | Move the pusher (8) carefully up and release the spring valve (11). |
The assembly cartridge (7) and the sleeve (3) will be pressed upwards through the spring valve (11). |
13 | Release and remove the pusher (8) from the notch piece (6). |
14 | Remove the mounting cartridge (7) with the sleeve (3) from the mounting cartridge guide (1). |
15 | Remove spring valve plate (10) and the spring valve (11) with the magnetic pin. |
16 | Pull up the head screw knurled in the cartridge for mounting (7) and remove the tapered pins (9) from the cartridge for mounting (7). |

17 | Detach the valve stem seals (12) using pliers (13). |
18 | Likewise, perform the work steps 4 through 17 for the remaining spring valves and valve stem seals (12) on the cylinder head. |
W05.30-1068-02
19 | Loosen the cylinder head. |
20 | Disassemble the mounting cartridge guide (1) with the notch piece (6) and the sleeve (3). |
Only when additional services are performed in the cylinder head. |
Installation:
21 | Lay and fasten the cylinder head on a flat surface. |
22 | Put the glove (3) on the mounting cartridge guide (1), align the mounting cartridge guide (1) on the cylinder head and screw using the screw (4). Screw the notch piece (6). |
Only when additional services are performed in the cylinder head. |

23 | Check whether the support disc (16) is on the head, otherwise insert the support disc (16). |
24 | Lubricate the sleeve (17) with motor oil and push it on the valve stem. |
25 | Place new valve stem seals (12) on the sleeve (17) and, using the mandrel (5), press on the valve guide (18). Carefully tap with the mandrel (5) until the valve stem seal (12) is placed flat. |
26 | Remove the mandrel (5) and the sleeve (17). |
27 | Check the valve stem seals (12) for damage; if necessary, replace them. |

28 | Place the spring valve (11) and the spring valve plate (10) on the mounting cartridge guide (1). |
29 | Pull up the head screw knurled in the cartridge for mounting (7) and place both tapered pins (9) between the cartridge tips for mounting (7). |
30 | Place the sleeve (3) with the mounting cartridge (7) on the mounting cartridge guide (1). |
The tapered pins (9) are embedded in the mounting cartridge (7). |
31 | Fit the pusher (8) with built-in extender in the notch part (6) and place it on the mounting cartridge (7). |
W05.30-1067-11
32 | Press the pusher (8) down (arrow C) until the spring valve is slightly compressed, and hold the pusher (8). |
33 | Pull the knurled head screw (7.1) up (arrow D) and hold it. Continue pushing the pusher (8) until it reaches the stop. |
So, the tapered pins come down from the mounting cartridge (7) between the spring valve plate and the valve stem. |
34 | Carefully move the pusher (8) upwards. |
At the same time, hold the knurled head screws (7.1). |
35 | Remove the pusher (8). |
W05.30-1071-11
36 | Remove the mounting cartridge (7) with the sleeve (3). |
37 | Check that the tapered pins are firmly seated. |
38 | Likewise, perform the work steps 23 through 37 for the remaining spring valves and valve stem seals on this cylinder head. |
Possibly align the mounting cartridge guide (1) again with the sleeve (3). |
39 | Dismount the cartridge guide for mounting (1) and the notch part (6). |
