Remove/install camshaft bearing caps

1 Loosen bolts (1 to 8) for camshaft bearing caps (9) in a number of stages according to the represented sequence until the back pressure is dissipated.

Installation: Screw in bolts (1 ti 8) in the reverse order in a number of stages all the way and tighten using the prescribed torque.

2 Remove bolts (1 to 8) and take off camshaft bearing caps (9).

Mark installation location of camshaft bearing caps (9).

Installation: Clean contact surfaces of camshaft bearing caps (9) and wet with engine oil. Observe installation location of camshaft bearing caps (9).

3 Install in the reverse order.
