Remove
1 Remove bearing bridge (A).
Observe loosening sequence (1 to 3) of bearing bridge (A) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.
2 Unscrew bolts on camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) in steps of one revolution until the back pressure has been removed and then remove.
Observe loosening sequence (1 to 8) of camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.
The camshafts must not be tilted when loosening camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.

Install
3 Tighten bolts on camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) in steps of one revolution.
Observe tightening sequence (1 to 8) of camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.
The camshafts must not be tilted when tightening camshaft bearing cap (B) or camshaft bearing cap (C) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.
4 Attach bearing bridge (A).
Observe tightening sequence (1 to 3) of bearing bridge (A) otherwise the camshafts can be damaged.
