Removing
1 Detach camshaft sprockets (2 and 3) at the camshafts and take off.
Installation: Replace torx bolts (1).
2 Tie up timing chain (4).

Installing
3 Fit timing chain (4) onto the inlet camshaft sprocket (3). Position inlet camshaft sprocket (3) with timing chain (4) fitted on, at the inlet camshaft; re-position timing chain (4) on the inlet camshaft sprocket (3), if necessary.
Ensure the straight pin (arrow) is correctly located. If it is also not possible to install the inlet camshaft sprocket (3) by altering the position of the timing chain (4), the timing chain (4) must once again be pulled up and fitted on again.
4 Insert new torx bolts (1) at inlet camshaft sprocket (3) and tighten slightly.

5 Fit timing chain (4) onto the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2). Position exhaust camshaft sprocket (2) with timing chain (4) fitted on, against the exhaust camshaft; re-position timing chain (4) on the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2), if necessary.
Ensure the guide pin (arrow) is correctly located. If it is not possible to install the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2) in any position, also not by re-positioning the timing chain (4), the timing chain (4) must again be pulled up and fitted on once again.
6 Insert new torx bolts (1) at exhaust camshaft sprocket (2), then tighten all torx bolts (1) fully.
Pay attention to tightening torque .
