Guide sleeve
Careful, do not damage the bushings of the camshaft support bearings.
1 | Attach the guide bushing (2) to the front of the camshaft (1) and carefully remove the camshaft (1) from the crankcase. |
2 | Remove the guide-bushing (2) from the camshaft (1). |

Oil the camshaft's journals and cams.
3 | Attach the guide-bushing (2) to the camshaft front part (1) and insert it carefully in the crankcase, approaching the camshaft (1) gear to the crankshaft gear (3). |
4 | Match the markings “1-1” (arrow) of the camshaft gear (1) with the marking “1” of the crankshaft gear (3) and insert the camshaft (1) to the end. |
5 | Remove the guide-bushing (2) from the camshaft (1). |
