Remove/Install

Remove front cover (23) at cylinder head

Position piston of cylinder 1 to 20° after ignition TDC (arrow)

Rotate engine at front of crankshaft in normal direction of rotation

Lock intake camshaft (75) and exhaust camshaft (78) in place with positioning pins (01) (arrows)



Remove chain tensioner (14)

 If the complete chain tensioner (14) is slackened, it must be removed, disassembled and reassembled, as described.

Unbolt guide rail (70), take off


