Remove camshaft positioner for right intake camshaft

To remove the tensioning rail (1)

Remove tensioning rail bolt (2)

To remove the tensioning rail (1)

Remove tensioning rail bolt (4)

To remove the tensioning rail (3)

 Impact extractor

 Threaded bolt

Remove tensioning rail (1) or tensioning rail (3) upwards

Check tensioning rail (1) and tensioning rail (3) for wear, galling and damage and replace tensioning rail (1) and tensioning rail (3) if necessary

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary


