Remove timing chain

Lower vehicle carefully and support engine with transmission jack on oil/water heat exchanger (2)

 Place a suitable base between the transmission jack and the oil/water heat exchanger (2) to avoid damage on the oil/water heat exchanger (2).

Remove screw/bolts (3) for engine support (4) on cylinder head (5)

Remove cylinder head bolts and take off cylinder head (5)

 The cylinder head (5) is fixed in place on the cylinder crankcase (6) by eight cylinder head bolts.

Remove cylinder head gasket

Remove slide rail (1) from guide pin (arrow) on cylinder crankcase (6)



Install

Position slide rail (1) on guide pin (arrow) on cylinder crankcase (6)

Lay out removes cylinder head gasket

Put cylinder head (5) in place and fix in place on cylinder crankcase (6) using four cylinder head bolts

PositiFor engine support (4) on cylinder head (5) and screw in screw/bolts (3)



Lift vehicle using a vehicle lift and remove transmission jack

Install timing chain
