Lay on the timing chain

1 Align the holes (arrows) in the tensioning pulley (7) to the guide pulley (3) (broken line) and tighten bolt (6).

2 Lay timing chain (2) around the crankshaft gear (1).

3 Lay the timing chain (2) past the guide pulley (3) on the camshaft sprocket (4) and fix in place with a suitable clip (8).

4 Turn camshaft sprocket (5) with an Allen wrench to top dead center, lay timing belt (2) on the camshaft sprocket (5) and fix in place with a suitable clip (9).

5 Lead timing belt (2) over the tensioning pulley (7).

6 Remove clips (8, 9).
