1 | Remove cylinder head cover | ||
2 | Remove rocker arm assembly (1) with bolts (3) and clamps (4) | Check rocker arms assembly (1) for wear, if necessary: | |
Disassemble rocker arms assembly (1) and replace worn parts | |||
3 | Remove valve caps (6) from exhaust valve shaft ends | Check valve caps (6) for wear; replace if necessary. | |
4 | Remove valve bridges (5) from intake valve shaft ends | Mark valve bridge installation locations (5). Check valve bridges (5) for wear; replace if necessary. | |
| Install | ||
5 | Place valve bridges (5) on intake valve shaft ends | Pay attention to marking. | |
6 | Place valve caps (6) on exhaust valve shaft ends | ||
7 | Install rocker arm assembly (1) with bolts (3) and clamps (4) | Lubricate pans of tappet rods (2) with engine oil. Ensure tappet rods (2) are correctly located in tappets. | |

8 | Check valve clearance, set if necessary | ||
9 | Install cylinder head cover |
