Remove/install

Remove the fan.

Release tension of poly-V-belt (5) and remove from guide pulley (6).

Attach turning device for engine.

Remove adapter (1).

Remove two opposing bolts (7).

Remove vibration damper (2) via drifts or centering drifts (8).

Measure shank length (L) of screws (7)

If the maximum shank length (L) is exceeded,

Replace screw/bolt (7) concerned.
