

Remove the screw (3)

Remove the vibration-absorbing pulley (1)

In case of vibration-absorbing pulley with expansion rings:



Tap with a plastic hammer to loose it from the end of the crankshaft.

 Then, remove the pressure rings (9), external (8) and internal (7) expanders, and the thrust ring (6).



Check

Check the vibration-absorbing pulley (1) for damage and wear

In case of cracks on the rubber core and/or excessive wear on the belt working area:



Replace the vibration-absorbing pulley.

Check the condition of the internal (7) and external (8) expansion rings

Replace in case of wear or deformation.



Install

Mount the vibration-absorbing pulley (1) at the end of the crankshaft (5)

 Slightly lubricate the end of the crankshaft (5).

 Observe the match between the keyway on the crankshaft and the slot on the pulley.

Install the thrust ring (6), the internal (7) and external (8) expanders and the snap ring (9)


Do not use high-strength greases and greases with high lubricating content.
Otherwise, may result in damage to the components.

 Expansion rings should be installed dry or lightly oiled.

Mount and tighten the screw (3) to the recommended torque

 Slightly lubricate the screw and the screw head seating face (3).

Install the fan
