Remove slinger.

Remove cassette-type sealing ring (1).

The respective separate part of the  pulling device (3) must always be used.
Otherwise the housing cover (2) may be damaged.

Install

Install new cassette-type sealing ring (1).

The respective separate part of the  pulling device (3) must always be used.
Otherwise the housing cover (2) will be damaged or the cassette-type sealing ring (1) will not be sealed.

Attach slinger.

 Pay attention to installation position. The slinger must be installed with the flat side towards belt pulley/vibration damper (4).

Install belt pulley/vibration damper (4).

Perform engine test run, switch off engine, and check in the area of the cassette-type sealing ring (1) for leak tightness.

 Visual inspection.
