1 | Remove flywheel. | ||
2 | Press out radial shaft sealing ring (1) using pry bar (2). | Cover over crankshaft with a rag as a protection. | |

3 | Clean the timing case in the area of the removed radial shaft sealing ring (1) and flywheel flange. | ||
| Check | ||
4 | Check tread of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) on the flywheel flange on the flywheel. | If galling is present on the flywheel flange, | |

Replace flywheel. | |||
| Install | ||
5 | Install new radial shaft sealing ring (1) with assembly tool (3). | ||
Install radial shaft sealing ring (1) dry on the outer surface and coated with engine oil on the inner sealing lip. | |||

6 | Install flywheel. |
