Remove the seal (2) from the distribution housing (1).

Position the new seal (2) on the mandrel housing (3).
Note the proper seating of the seal (2) on the mandrel (3).

Install the seal (2) on the timing case (1) with the aid of the mandrel (3) and limiter

Clean and grease the edge of the seal (2).
