Remove/install

Suction off engine oil

 Installation: Check seal for oil pan (1) according to engine test run.



Engine oil and filter change

Detach vacuum reservoir (2) and lay with attached vacuum line to the side

Remove screws (3) and bracket (4) for vacuum reservoir (2)



Remove screw/bolts on oil pan (1)

 The oil pan (1) is attached by fourteen screw/bolts to the cylinder crankcase.

Detach oil pan (1) from the crankcase using the knife and take off

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and threaded holes in cylinder crankcase as well as in timing case cover.

Apply sealant in the form of a bead with a height and width of about 3 mm of the sealing surface of the oil pan (1).


