Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Clean recesses around the spark plug wells on the cylinder head cover (1).

Unclip lines of the spark plug connectors (3) from the brackets.

Pull spark plug connector (3) out of the spark plug wells.

 Mark spark plug connector (3) relative to the associated cylinders.

 Installation: Note marking.

Remove vent hose (7) from the cylinder head cover (1).

Remove screws (4) and remove cylinder head cover (1).

 Installation: Replace sealing rings (5), sealing washers (4.1) and seal (6).

Check seal (2) between the cylinder head cover (1) and charge-air distributor.

If the seal is damaged.



Install a new seal (2).

Install in the reverse order

 Crankcase ventilation, cylinder head cover
