| Remove/Install | ||
1 | Take the key out of the electronic ignition switch. | Vehicles with Keyless-Go Code 889: press Start/Stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. | |
2 | Remove air cleaner housing | ||
3 | Detach the electrical connector at the pressure regulator valve (Y74) | ||
4 | Connect compression tester (1) | Only connect electric cables. | |

5 | Crank engine | Do not crank the engine using the EZS ignition/starter switch, but with contact switch (2) on compression tester (1). | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Read out DTC memory | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
