1 | Remove engine compartment cover above the engine fuse and relay module (K40/8). |
2 | Detach cover from engine compartment fuse and relay module (K40/8). |
Installation: Check seal in the cover. |
3 | Pull out starter circuit 50 relay (K40/8kH) on engine fuse and relay module (K40/8). |
4 | Open covering cap (2a) on engine compartment prefuse box (F32/3). |
5 | Mount connection line (3) for compression recorder on engine compartment prefuse box (F32/3). |
6 | Connect compression recorder with adapter line (1) from the electrical connection kit to slot "87" (see arrow) of engine compartment fuse and relay module (K40/8). |
The electrical feed line must not be plugged into slot "87a". |
The slot allocations are also on the starter circuit 50 relay (K40/8kH). |
