7 Pressure switch

Check

Clean inspection glass (arrow) on receiver/drier

Disconnect electrical cable from pressure switch (7)

Start engine and run at idle

Switch on air conditioning or automatic air conditioning ("defrosting" or "air dehumidification" position)

Attach electrical cable to pressure switch (7)

Observe inspection glass (arrow) at receiver/drier:

Refrigerant flow must increase shortly after switching on the electromagnetic clutch and then flow bubble-free (i.e. refrigerant no longer visible).

Even if the correct quantity is filled, foam or a few bubbles may be present at higher ambient temperatures
(> 35 °C).

If there is a loss of coolant or leak suspected in the system, refill or top up air conditioning
