Risk of injury caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts

Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.

Deburr repair panels.

Open front flap

Turn the screws (2) through 90° and detach the frame (1) from the heater housing

Pull the frame (1) downwards (arrow A) and then detach.

Force frame (1) apart (arrow B) using suitable tool and remove dust filter (3)

Only force the frame (1) apart (arrow B) far enough that the dust filter (3) can be removed, otherwise the frame (1) can be damaged.

The dust filter (3) can be washed out with water and cleaned with compressed air if it is not damaged.

Install in the reverse order
