1 Blower, fresh air/recirculated air rotary switch

2 Air distribution rotary switch

3 Temperature selector switch

4 Center outlet temperature rotary switch

5 Air conditioning switch

6 Activated charcoal filter switch

7 Driver's cab heating/engine preheating switch

Inspect

The coolant temperature should be approx. 50° C

Danger!

Risk of accident as vehicle may start off by itself with the engine running. Risk of injury as working around the engine during start-up or while running may result in contusions and burns

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving off by itself.
Wear closed and tight-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine

Check blower, by moving rotary switch (1) to each different setting


Rotary switch up = fresh air, rotary switch down = recirculated air

Check air distribution duct to heating and air nozzles by moving rotary switch (2) to each different setting

Check warm air outlet by moving temperature selector switch (3) and rotary switch (4) to maximum room temperature

If present.

Check stationary heater

Reset rotary switches (1, 2, 4) and temperature selector switch (3), switch engine off
