Remove/install

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Switch off ignition

Secure engine against unintentional starting

Open cap at fuel tank

In order to remove build up pressure relief

Unscrew cover (1) from fuel filter housing (4)

Remove filter element (3)

Collect fuel which flows out.

Installation: Replace filter element and sealing ring (2). Rub sealing ring (2) with clean fuel.

Install in the reverse order

6

Crank the engine and check fuel filter housing (4) for leaks
