1 | Clean the outside of the soiled fuel prefilter | ||
2 | Cover over cooling and heating water hoses positioned below the prefilter | ||
3 | Unscrew filter bowl (1), take off filter element (2) and clean | Blow out with compressed air. Replace a filter element which is soiled or damaged or inspection glass damaged at the sealing surface. | |
4 | Inspect seal (3), replace accoding to condition | Lightly grease or oil new seal (3). | |
5 | Insert filter element (2) into filter bowl (1) and screw filter bowl onto filter housing | ||
6 | Bleed fuel system | ||

7 | Start engine | ||
8 | Inspect the prefilter for leaks |
