Open the fuel tank cap

Open end cover to release the fuel tank overpressure.

Clean the filter housing (4) externally

Remove the thread cover end (1) and remove the filter element (3) from the filter housing (4)

Pay attention to prevent foreign bodies from entering the filter housing (4). If needed, clean the filter housing (4), pay attention to prevent contamination and debris.

Clean the thread cover end (1) and the filter element (3)

Replace the filter element (3) if it is very dirty or damaged.

If the filter element (3) contains too much dirty:

Clean the suction filter at the fuel tank, invoicing separately.

Replace the sealing ring (2)

Slightly put the grease or oil in the sealing ring (2).

Screw and tighten the thread cover end (1) with the filter element (3)

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Actuate the engine start-up and bleed the fuel system

Run engine for approximately 1 minute. The fuel system bleeds automatically.

If engine does not start or run for a short period only:

Bleed the fuel system.
