Danger! | Risk of poisoning due to ingestion of brake fluid. Risk of injuries due to the contact of skin and eyes with the brake fluid | Drain and store the brake fluid only in its original package. Wear protective clothes and glasses.
| Indications for repairs in the brake system | ||
1 | Connect the fluid hose of the bleeding equipment to the brake fluid reservoir | The reservoir is located in the behind the dashboard. in order to gain access to the reservoir, remove the cover of the dashboard left end.
2 | Fasten the ALB regulator rod in full load
3 | Remove the bleeders' plugs (4) and install a transparent draining hose | Start the process of fluid replacement by the bleeder (4) of the hydraulic cylinder by one of the rear wheels.
4 | Install a bleeding equipment valve, open the bleeder at least 45º in the hydraulic cylinder and let the old fluid go out until the new one appears | Actuate the supplied bleeding equipment and with the respective work pressure (1 bar). The pressure must not exceed 1 bar.
Do not re-use the drained fluid during the bleeding process, as it can be contaminated and damage the actuation system.
During the bleeding process, if the system is with pressure and the bleeder is closed, the clutch pedal can not be actuated.
Open the bleeder and close it again until no more bubbles continue coming out by the draining hose.
5 | Repeat the work steps 3 and 4 for the other wheels
6 | Release the rod of the ALB regulator
7 | Close the bleeder and de-pressurize and remove the bleeder equipment. | Check the reservoir and supply it until reaching the indicated maximum level. |
