Remove stop plug (1) on brake carrier plate

Check lining thickness of brake shoes

The wear limit of the brake linings should be checked through the inspection hole. Observe recommended wear limit so that wear limit is not violated before the next maintenance service. If the lining thickness is getting close to the brake lining wear limit, the exact lining thickness must be established when the brake drum (2) is removed:
