Drain oil when warm



Renew all sealing rings

Jack up vehicle at rear axle and place on axle stands

Rotate rear wheel until drain opening of outer planetary gearset is at bottom.

Unscrew oil filler screw (3) and oil drain screw (4), drain oil

 Clean the area around the oil filler screw and oil drain screw.

 Do not allow oil of outer planetary gearset to run over tires.
Use drainage groove and suitable receptacle.

Rotate rear wheel until drain opening of outer planetary gearset is at top.

Attach filling reservoir to filler opening.



Pour oil into planetary hub reduction drive.



Remove filling reservoir, check oil level.

 Do not turn wheel otherwise oil runs out. The oil must reach the lower edge of the oil filler opening.

Screw in oil filler screw (3) and oil drain screw (4)

Unscrew oil filler screw (1) and oil drain screw (2) on differential, drain oil

 Clean the area around the oil filler screw and oil drain screw.
Use a suitable receptacle.

Screw in oil drain screw (2).



Pour in oil up to lower edge of oil filler opening of differential housing.


