1 Lubricate lock.
Use transmission oil.
2 Lubricate hand wheel shaft (1) between the ball neck and hand wheel as well as the shaft of the release device (3).
Use engine oil.

3 Lubricate guide with balls (2), release device (3) and guide surface (4) lightly.
Use grease or multipurpose grease.

4 Lightly grease ball neck mounting at the points marked with arrows.
Use grease or multipurpose grease.
