- Store brake fluid only in original containers in order to avoid any incorrect use of the fluid.
Fatal dosage 100 cm3
- Do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with the vehicle paintwork as it contains elements which act as solvents on the paintwork.
- Brake fluid is extremely hygroscopic, in other words it absorbs moisture form the surrounding air which causes a drop in the boiling point. For this reason, brake fluid must be stored in well sealed containers.
- Inspect fluid level in reservoir (1). The reservoir is correctly filled if the brake fluid extends up to the "MAX" marking.
If the brake fluid is below the "MAX" marking, inspect the clutch mechanism for leaks before replenishing brake fluid.
