Oil level inspection when transmission is cold

Clean the area around the oil filler screw (arrow).

Unscrew oil filler screw

 Keep a receptacle ready for any oil that escapes. Clean oil filler plug.

Check and correct oil level

 The transmission is correctly filled when the oil reaches the bottom edge of the filler hole.

If checking the oil level when the transmission is hot, do not drain off any oil that escapes.


