1 | Unscrew reservoir cap | The hydraulic fluid reservoir is located behind the fuel filler flap on the left side of the vehicle. For this step: | |
| Remove fuel tank paneling. | ||
2 | Extract old brake fluid using a syringe | | |
3 | Screw bleeding unit connector onto reservoir and connect pressure hose | Adjust working pressure of bleeding unit, see operator's manual for bleeding unit. | |

4 | Detach lower engine compartment paneling | ||
| Remove and install bottom engine compartment paneling | ||
5 | Install drain hose of brake fluid receptacle on bleed valve (arrow) | Detach dust cap. | |
6 | Open bleed valve (arrow) | Keep the bleed valve (1) open until new brake fluid escapes free of bubbles at the drain hose. | |
7 | Close bleed valve (arrow) | Press on dust cap. | |
8 | Check lines, bleed valve (arrow), master cylinder and clutch booster (1) for leaks | The bleeding unit must be connected and under operating pressure | |
9 | Detach pressure hose from bleeding unit connector | Follow the operating instructions for the bleeding unit. | |
10 | Detach bleeding unit connector on reservoir | ||
11 | Correct fluid level in reservoir | ||
12 | Screw on cap | ||
13 | Check function of clutch | If the clutch only functions with difficulty or not at all, the bleeding process of the clutch control should be repeated. | |
14 | Install lower engine compartment paneling. | ||
