Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury caused by brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Unscrew cap (1) of reservoir

The reservoir is located behind the cover in the driver footwell.

Extract old brake fluid using a syringe

Screw bleeding unit connector onto reservoir and connect pressure hose

Adjust working pressure of bleeding unit, see operator's manual for bleeding unit.

Brake fluid as per Specifications for Operating Fluids.

Install drain hose of brake fluid receptacle on bleed valve (2)

Detach dust cap.

Open bleed valve (2)

Keep the bleed valve (2) open until new brake fluid escapes free of bubbles at the drain hose.

Close bleed valve (2)

Press on dust cap.

Check lines, bleed valve (2), master cylinder and clutch booster for leaks

The bleeding unit must be connected and under operating pressure

Detach pressure hose from bleeding unit connector

Follow the operating instructions for the bleeding unit.

Unscrew bleeding unit connector on reservoir

Correct the fluid level in the reservoir

Screw on cap (1).

Check function of clutch

If the clutch only functions with difficulty or not at all, the bleeding process of the clutch control should be repeated.
