1 Place a suitable container under the filter to catch the oil running off.
2 Remove the oil filter (4) manually, or utilizing an appropriate removal strap.
3 Moisten the new oil filter sealing ring and fill the filter with clean engine oil.
4 Screw-in the new oil filtering element (4) until sealing ring fits against the machined surface. Next, screw-in the filtering element an additional 3/4 of one turn, to obtain a tightening corresponding from 15 to 20 Nm.
Thoroughly follow this tightening procedure of the filtering element. Excessive tightening may cause oil leaks and the lack of tightening may result in the filtering element becoming loose.
